Rider of Pegasus
Bellerophon is a mortal hero best known for taming Pegasus with a golden bridle given to him by Athena in a dream, and then using the winged horse to kill the Chimera, a creature no one could safely approach on the ground. Attacking from the air solves a problem brute force alone never could.
