Mistress of Aeaea
Circe is a powerful enchantress living alone on the island of Aeaea, daughter of the Sun god Helios, who turns Odysseus's crew into swine with her potions. Odysseus, protected by an herb Hermes gives him, resists her magic entirely, and forces her to restore his men.
