Asterion, Shame of the Labyrinth
The Minotaur is born to Pasiphaë after Poseidon punishes Minos for reneging on a promised sacrifice, cursing the queen with desire for the bull her husband refused to kill. What she bears is neither fully animal nor fully human, and unfit to be shown to anyone.
