Narcissus

The Boy Who Loved His Own Reflection

Narcissus is a beautiful youth who rejects every admirer who approaches him, Echo among them, with a cruelty the sources treat as habitual rather than incidental. Nemesis, retribution herself, decides the punishment should match the crime exactly: he falls in love with his own reflection in a pool, and cannot look away from it.
