The Princess Carried Off by the Sea
Europa is a Phoenician princess, gathering flowers by the shore when Zeus appears among her attendants as an unusually tame white bull. She climbs onto his back, half in play, and he simply carries her out to sea, swimming all the way to Crete before revealing who he actually is.
