Broad-bosomed Earth
Gaia is the ground everything else stands on, literally and genealogically. She rises from Chaos, bears the sky and the sea from herself alone, then marries her own son Uranus and becomes mother to the Titans, the Cyclopes, and the Hundred-Handers.
