Leader of the Argonauts
Jason is the rightful heir to Iolcus, raised away from the throne his uncle Pelias seized from his father. Pelias sends him after the Golden Fleece expecting the quest to kill him, and Jason gathers the Argo's crew from nearly every great hero of the age to attempt it anyway.
