Neoptolemus

Achilles's Son, Sent for After His Death

Neoptolemus is Achilles's son, raised apart from the war until a prophecy declares Troy cannot fall without him, and he is brought to the front in his father's place. He fights with none of Achilles's occasional mercy, and when the city finally falls, it's Neoptolemus who kills Priam at the altar of Zeus where the old king has taken refuge.
