The Far-Springer
Euryale is the second of the three Gorgon sisters, immortal like Sthenno, and largely defined by what she is not: not the one Perseus came for, not the one whose death matters to the wider mythology. Her name means far-springing, a hint at ferocity that never gets much further elaboration in the surviving sources.
