The Enduring
Atlas is a Titan, son of Iapetus and Clymene, who leads the Titans in their war against Zeus. When the war ends, every other defeated Titan goes to Tartarus. Atlas alone receives a different sentence: to stand at the western edge of the world and hold the sky apart from the earth, without rest, forever.
