Mother of Monsters
Echidna is half beautiful nymph, half enormous serpent, living hidden in a cave far from the company of gods or mortals. With Typhon, the last and nearly successful challenger to Zeus, she produces an extraordinary line of monsters: Orthrus, Cerberus, the Hydra, and Chimera among them.
